Essential Functions: · Carry out regular maintenance of plumbing systems at commercial and residential sites · Perform installation of plumbing systems at newly renovated properties · Inspect previously installed systems and perform any necessary repairs · Communicate effectively with customers to represent the 1 Tom Plumber image with pride · Provide information regarding plumbing system upkeep as needed · Keep detailed reports of work done at various job sites · Properly clean and maintain company provided equipment and vehicle Typical schedule is Monday through Friday from 8am–5:00pm working from our Tri-Cities location. Plumbers are also tasked with a rotating on-call shift. Total compensation between $60,000-$130,000 depending upon experience. This includes installing and repairing sinks, toilets, and other plumbing fixtures, as well as appliances including dishwashers and garbage disposals. Key Responsibilities • Complete plumbing, drain cleaning, and other related in-home service and install calls. • Serve the clients of 1 Tom Plumber by expertly servicing customers’ entire plumbing systems. • Wear floor savers while in the client’s home and maintain a neat work area when performing a repair or scheduled service. • Always explain to the client the service you are performing. Explain and show the client how 1 Tom Plumber provides superior service. • Establish customer rapport to sell the right products and services. • Re-check all plumbing repairs and installations after completion to ensure everything is working properly and that we did indeed fix it right the first time. • Educate and assist customers in choosing the best finance options and maintenance plans. • Show yourself as professional and knowledgeable to win new referrals and repeat business. • Maintain your truck so that it is neat and clean inside and out at all times.
