Construction Engineer

Role&Responsibility - Manage job site with GC and subcontractor regarding schedule, safety and quality. - Responsibility will also include spending time on site for as well as in the office running the project. Must be knowledgeable and able to follow plans, check safety and quality on site also fulfill project manager role at the office. - Control documents which are sending and receiving with Designer, G/C and Client: reviewed all documents including drawings to ensure all information is correct, complete and up to regulatory, safety standards and contractual specifications. - Check the site with blueprints and ensure that G/C is performing under the contract specification and within the budget and time limitations of the contract. - Generate documents including RFI, RFA, Construction plan and progress report to coordinate with G/C and Client. - Understand and apply OSHA Standards on-site; identify and correct any non- compliance. - Carry out assigned duties in accordance with the sites emergency response plan during emergencies. - Review monthly progress payment documents submitted by contractors, follow up Qualification - Bilingual (English and Korean) speaking. - Proficient with software such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. - Knowledge of applicable project management and document tracking. - Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing. Key Notes/Requirements - Experience in a construction setting preferred - Bachelor degree with a background in construction management/engineering
