Position Summary/Purpose: Provide site liaison support for the superintendent and the construction team on inter-discipline subcontractor coordination and overall quality of work at job sites in field operations. Essential Functions: • Assist contractors interpret the job's designs, ensure the job is constructed according to the project plans, and assist project controls, including budgeting, scheduling, and planning. • Coordination of the implementation of a project, ensuring it is being built correctly; project schedules and forecasts; interpretation of drawings for subcontractors; review of engineering deliverables; redlining drawings; regular project status reports; budget monitoring and trend tracking; bill of materials creation and maintenance; effective communications between engineering, technical, construction, and project controls groups; and assistance to the project manager. • Research regarding city, county and state construction codes and regulations for every project as needed. • Assist with the evaluation and development of solutions to problems and questions from subcontractors and other workers on-site.
