Construction Laborer

We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Construction Laborer to join our team! Key responsibilities: • Assist with site preparation, including clearing debris and setting up materials. • Load and unload construction materials and distribute them to appropriate locations. • Operate basic hand and power tools safely and efficiently. • Mix, pour, and spread concrete, asphalt, and other construction materials. • Dig trenches, backfill excavations, and compact earth for construction purposes. • Follow safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment. • Assist skilled tradespeople, such as carpenters, electricians, and plumbers, as required. • Perform general maintenance of construction equipment and report any malfunctions. • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor or project manager. Preferred Qualifications: • Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not required. • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects and standing for long periods. • Knowledge of basic construction techniques and tools is a plus. • Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to follow instructions. • Willingness to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing tasks. • Compliance with workplace safety guidelines and use of protective equipment. • A valid driver’s license may be required, depending on the job site location. Physical demands: • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (50+ lbs) regularly. • Prolonged standing, bending, kneeling, and climbing ladders. • Exposure to various weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold. • Ability to work in noisy and dusty environments.
