As a Construction Laborer, you will be an essential part of our Baranko Brothers team, assisting with site preparation, excavation, grading, and various labor tasks on our civil and heavy highway sites. RESPONSIBLITIES • Assist with site preparations by clearing debris and setting up safety barriers, including cones, signs, and barricades, in work zones. • Dig trenches for utilities, drainage systems, or foundations using hand tools or small machinery. • Support heavy equipment operators in grading and leveling soil to meet project specifications, using tools such as rakes, shovels, and laser levels to ensure accurate elevations. • Provide spotting and signaling support to team members to ensure safe and efficient operations. • Perform other related duties as needed. REQUIREMENTS • Ability to lift heavy materials, stand for long periods, and perform physically demanding tasks in varying weather conditions. • Knowledge of road and construction safety regulations, along with experience using hand tools, is a plus. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Must have reliable transportation to and from work. • Must pass a pre-employment drug test and comply with drug and alcohol policies during employment. • Must be 18 years or older to be considered for this position.
