Machine Operator

Job Description: Primary Responsibilities: • Produce 100% defect free parts and minimize scrap. • Operate and monitor different types of machinery and equipment efficiently to reduce cost. • Operate lathe and cold heading machinery (dept. specific) • Operate Komatsu/Minster stamping equipment (dept. specific) • Make minor adjustments to machines per work instructions document and after training. • Visually inspect and compare parts with gauges for quality and document results. • Move pans of parts onto pallets and use various material handling devices to move products. • Maintaining machinery and work area clean. • Complete production documentation and reports. • Report malfunctions to appropriate staff. • May be required to operate and drive forklift and operate a hoist. • Perform all 5s responsibilities required. CNC Mill and Lathe Machinist

Operational overview: Manufacturing machining operation, specialize in automotive and truck components with hi-tech CNC machine center (Lathe, HMC, Grinding, Hobbling, Broach, automation) Ability overview: Developing, configuring, and optimizing overall manufacturing processes. Designing, running, testing, and upgrading manufacturing processes with innovative solution. Supporting production to outcome the quality. Cost reduction Skills and activities: • Creates operational instructions (WI, SOP, OPL, PLANNING PROCESS) • Able to read blue print • Able to develop the machining process • Select appropriate cutting tools and related works parameter • Install and teach tools in the CNC machines • Install and check fixtures in CNC machines • Load-Download CNC Programs • Tryout the machining process, inspect first piece after setup ready for approval • Make adjustment (tool-offsets/work-offset) until part is machined within specifications • Able to operate CNC LATHE, CNC HMC, manual lathes & mills • Able to use and read precise measuring equipment • Able to work on cycle time reduction • Able to work on achieve the requested CPK • Basic Math Skills and Machining Math • General Computer skills • Write CNC program LATHE and HMC • Knowledge of metal shop work • Know CAD/CAM software (example: AutoCAD and Mastercam) Important: • Adherence to assigned time schedule • Available for overtime, required • Team Work Job Type: Full-time Base Pay: From $13.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40 per week Benefits: • Dental insurance • Flexible schedule • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Work Location: In person

CNC Machine Operator

Position Description: The CNC Operator will be operating computer numeric controlled (CNC) heavy machinery, maintain the working area in line with standards and reach the maximum efficiency in respect to safety, quality and productivity required. Machine Set Up: • Operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding and milling • Understand the specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, and mechanical drawings. • Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines • Prepare a test run to check if the machines produce outputs according to customer product specifications. • Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly. • Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality • Perform other duties as assigned.
