Job Overview The Concrete Finisher / Carpenter is responsible for excavation, formwork, rebar tying/handling, setting embedded anchor bolts, pouring and finishing concrete. Concrete Finisher / Carpenter will work closely with a team of highly skilled construction workers specializing in precision concrete construction to complete daily duties. The Concrete Finisher / Carpenter will report to a Crew Lead and Foreman. He/she can expect to work in and around electrical substations and near high-voltage transmission lines and must be familiar with proper conduct, PPE, minimum safe distances and hand signals. Safety is the utmost priority. The Concrete Finisher / Carpenter must provide basic personal tools and be competent in the use of hand tools to properly construct formwork and professionally finish concrete foundations. The future career path for this position includes learning cross-functional leadership skills to advance to Crew Lead, Foreman and Superintendent.
