Prerequisites: • MUST be able to pass pulmonary function test and be able to wear a respirator. • Reliability as demonstrated by above average attendance without any no-call, no show absences. • High School Diploma or Equivalent/Basic reading, writing, and math skills • Demonstrated ability to maintain a clean & orderly work environment • Basic computer skills and ability to enter data about pouring process • Forklift certification • Must be able to climb ladders and steep steps • Machine operator experience is a plus Essential Functions/Responsibilities: • Checks compressed air and chemical temperatures prior to daily pouring line operations. • Checks to make sure all pumps are running, chemicals are flowing, and all drives are in good working order. • Calibrates all chemicals prior to the pouring process on a regular scheduled basis. • Monitors all tanks to be used in the daily pouring process to make sure they are open and contain sufficient levels to complete the scheduled production. • Changes chemical flow rates during pouring and adjusts the recipe as necessary to achieve a quality pour. • Monitors all the plastic during the pouring process. • Records all pressure and pump rates and enters these readings into the pouring log during the pouring process. • Enters the chemical lot numbers into the pouring log at the end of the pouring process. • Checks all chemical disconnects to make sure they are off at the end of the pouring process. • Assists with inventory, as required. • Other duties as assigned by management. Position Scope: Maintains daily communication with Quality Control, Department Manager, and other employees in the department to ensure the needs of all internal and external customers as outline by the production schedule are met. May call supervisor/truck shop as needed. • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
