Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Module Installer to join our growing team. Based near Toledo, Ohio, this position requires candidates to be Ohio residents and will play a vital role in the installation and maintenance of solar modules for utility-scale projects. This opportunity offers the chance to directly contribute to the development of large-scale solar installations that are making a significant impact on the renewable energy landscape. Start: 10/13/2025 Schedule: 60 Hrs per week Duration: 3 months Pay: $50.00++ Per Diem: Per work day Responsibilities: • Module Installation: Execute the installation and integration of solar modules on utility-scale solar projects, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. • Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough inspections to guarantee the proper functioning of solar modules, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective measures. • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of installation activities, including detailed documentation of equipment used, installation procedures, and any modifications made. • Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure seamless project execution and timely completion. • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to create a secure work environment for yourself and your team members. Qualifications: • Ohio Residency required to meet domicile requirements • Experience: Minimum of 1 years of experience in utility-scale solar module installation. • Technical Skills: Proficient in the use of tools and equipment related to solar module installation. • Knowledge of electrical systems is a plus. • Physical Fitness: Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, and to lift heavy equipment and materials as needed. • Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to identify and address issues efficiently. • Team Player: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. • Must be at least 18 years of age. • Ability to pass drug screen and background check GPT Renewables is an equal employment opportunity employer. Responsibilities: • Promote and comply with all Company and safety policies and procedures. • Utilize appropriate hand tools (i.e., crescent wrench, pliers, hammer, screwdriver) and power tools (i.e., drills, impact wrenches) to install components per codes and standards using drawings, schematics, and instructions. • Install, connect, and troubleshoot electrical wiring, combiner boxes, inverters, and other electrical components. • Conduct electrical testing and inspections to ensure all installations meet safety and performance standards, including voltage checks, grounding, and insulation resistance testing. • Identify methods for laying out, orienting, and mounting modules or arrays for efficient installation, electrical configuration, or system maintenance. • Identify and resolve any deficiencies in PV system installation or materials. • Lift, carry, and handle building materials, tools, and supplies; clean tools, equipment, materials, and work areas. • Perform various routine tasks such as digging, spreading, and leveling dirt and gravel using hand tools. • Follow lockout/tag-out procedures and attend site-specific training. • Coordinate work with other crafts and co-workers on the job. • Provide on-the-job training and mentoring to helpers and laborers. • Produce quality work, meeting all requirements of plans, specifications, and industry standards. • Perform all other job-related duties as requested by your supervisor. Qualifications: • Ohio Residency required to meet domicile requirements • Minimum of 1 years of experience working as a Electrician, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a construction or industrial setting. • Preferred knowledge utility-scale solar electrical installation. • Ability to interpret electrical diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals related to PV systems and electrical components. • Understanding of National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements. • Ability to follow directions and work effectively in a team environment. • Must be at least 18 years of age. • Ability to pass drug test and background check.
