Overview: The Senior Vice President of Wind Construction and Renewable Services will play a critical role in driving the growth and operational excellence of our business unit, focusing on the development of new resources and revenue streams. This leadership position will involve evaluating operational processes and crafting strategic plans aimed at standardizing and enhancing all aspects of our operations. Location & Travel: While preference will be given to candidates located near our offices in Indianapolis, IN, Fargo, ND, or Phoenix, AZ, this position can also be remote based on candidate qualifications. The role supports our operations across the United States, necessitating up to 50% travel to regional offices. Successful candidates will also benefit from an annual incentive plan and vehicle allowance. Responsibilities: • Develop and implement the strategic plan for the Renewable Services unit. • Organize, manage, and evaluate administrative functions to achieve overall division goals. • Provide leadership to administrative directors/managers, fostering collaboration to enhance performance. • Participate in strategic planning, assessing the impact of regulations and long-term decisions. • Deliver accurate analyses of budgets and business trends to support executive decision-making. • Enhance and enforce operational policies and procedures to improve overall effectiveness. • Build credibility through solutions-focused assessments, including evaluating outsourcing opportunities. • Provide technical advice across administrative areas, improving budgeting processes through education. • Manage relationships with governmental officials and organizations, ensuring effective communication and advocacy. • Act as the spokesperson for the division in media communications and community engagement. • Oversee negotiation and administration of division contracts, collaborating with finance on their viability. • Continuously evaluate and enhance the administrative structure for efficiency and professional growth. • Promote safety protocols and lead by example in a culture of safety. • Contribute to executive meetings, collaborating on business continuity and succession planning. Mergers and Acquisitions: • Provide recommendations on M&A targets based on market analysis. • Manage the M&A process specific to Wind Construction and Services. • Collaborate with internal teams to achieve identified merger objectives. • Investigate new market opportunities to diversify company offerings. • Propose business structures to access new markets effectively. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience. • Minimum of 15 years in the construction industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
