The Electrical Production Technician directly supports Nordex's mission to develop and deliver clean power plants. This role is ideal for individuals with electrical assembly experience who are excited to contribute to the clean energy transition. This role involves assembling and installing electrical components in wind turbine nacelles and hubs. You will route and secure wiring harnesses, connectors, and control systems using testing equipment to verify electrical continuity and system functionality. The work requires following safety protocols, maintaining a clean, organized work area, and exceeding production benchmarks by completing specific tasks within designated timeframes. You will also handle materials, collaborate with engineering and quality teams, participate in internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives, and support other production areas as needed. Additionally, you must assist mechanical assembly operators and conduct root cause analysis and troubleshooting of potential electrical connectivity issues.
