Transport materials to assigned areas and provide the necessary support for shipping goods and product to the identified internal and external destinations based on accepted industry and shop practices. Document and record all materials and products as required. Perform required equipment inspections for safe operation and delivery of the blades. Job Responsibilities • Receive and perform work assignments in oral and/or written format. • Accurately document all deliveries and provide blade verification for truck loading as required. • Understand directions through the use of radio transmission. • Inspect and record all equipment and lifting aids used daily. • Move and store blades according to process flow requirements. • Provide verification of blade truck loading. • Operate Articulated Loader and Cranes as required for loading and unloading blades on trucks or storage equipment. • Maneuver blades throughout the facility utilizing a spotter as needed. • Follow all applicable specifications and procedures regarding the performance of shop operations. • Use all required safety equipment and follow established safety procedures. • Provide technical direction and training of lower classifications as required. • Keep work areas in a clean and orderly condition. • Support and apply team concepts in daily activities.
