A Snapshot of Your Day As part of the Service Group, we set up, operate, and maintain a variety of equipment to assemble, inspect, and prepare molds. Work with or under the direction of Floor Leads, managers, and engineers, we follow all applicable specifications and procedures regarding the performance of shop operations. We support and apply team concepts in daily activities and are looking for support for overtime for up to 12 -hour days and on off days. How You’ll Make An Impact • Train to be proficient in mold preparation, web assembly, mandrel preparation, and mandrel removal • Document (Prisma) the mold preparation, web assembly, mandrel preparation, and mandrel removal for each mold/blade • Perform inspections as required • Use all required safety equipment and follow established safety procedures • Provide technical direction and training to other employees as needed • Keep work areas in a clean and orderly condition What You Bring • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience • Ability to use hand & power tools and lifting equipment • Possess or have ability to acquire all PIME license by passing company test requirements and possess or have ability to acquire LOTO certification • Acquire forklift, scissor lift, and Crown Wave license from the Safety Department • Demonstrate the ability to count and record material data with a high degree of accuracy and demonstrate proficiency in SAP and other MS Office computer tools • Able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted on a regular basis and sit, stand, bend & kneel for 8 or more hours/day Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. How You’ll Make An Impact • Receive and perform work assignments, oral and/or written and follow work instructions. • Accurately report findings of inspections to operations, supervisor, etc. • Document, organize, and retain all findings of evaluations and inspections in a timely manner. • Interpret drawings, sketches, etc. to select necessary tools and materials needed for assignments. • Complete preventive maintenance and routine repairs on all equipment and operating systems within the facility, including gearboxes, transmissions, hydraulic & lubrication systems, injection, heating, and molding equipment. • Perform inspections on lifting equipment such as chains, cables, shackles, eyebolts, clamps, and lifting beams to figure out safest operating conditions. Maintain records as required. What You Bring • High School diploma or equivalent required. 2 year technical degree is preferred. Various combinations of experience and education will be considered. • Minimum of 3 years experience repairing machine tool equipment is preferred. • Welding, fabrication, and assembly experience is also preferred. • Familiarity with safety equipment and following established safety procedures.
