Project Manager Tower (m/f/d)

YOUR TASKS: • Manage new development projects inside Global Engineering focused on Tower development, supply chain and installation processes activities across the different Nordex portfolio platforms, assuring budget, quality and timeline of the project. • Processing the project scope with interdisciplinary project teams (Engineering, Sales, Production, Logistics, Installation, Service). • Evaluation of project ideas and support up to approval. • Align schedule and scope of own projects across the product platform with other project managers. • Report to the program director of Turbine Serial Development as well as escalation to relevant committees. • Coordination of the necessary resources with line and project managers. • Coordination of technical aspects and risk management with chief engineers and divisional management. • Organization of prototype tests and ramp-up activities in the operation areas. YOUR PROFILE: • Diploma/Master's in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or similar. • Project Management experience required (PM certification preferred). • Several years of experience in wind turbine industry, preferably on mechanical and tower functions. • Very good MS office skills (including MS Project Server). • Experience in an ERP and PLM system advantageous. • Team worker, customer & solution oriented, clear and structured communication and reporting skills. High quality awareness and assertiveness. Intercultural experience necessary. • Fluent in English. Beneficial skills in Spanish and German. • Relevant experience in an Engineering or project management position in wind industry. • Availability to travel. Senior Civil Engineer (m/f/d) - Concrete Tower Structures (Wind Energy)

As a Senior Civil Engineer specializing in concrete structures, you will support the design and verification of concrete and hybrid towers for wind turbines. In this role, you'll apply your structural expertise to ensure the safety, durability and efficiency of our renewable energy systems - working closely with internal teams, external partners, and certifiers. YOUR TASKS: • Ensure structural integrity under various wind and load conditions. • Create clear and well-structured technical reports documenting your analysis and results. • Develop and improve calculation methods for continuous advancement of the team's capabilities. • Carry out structural analysis and verification of concrete towers using FEM tools (e.g. ANSYS, Abaqus) based on site-specific conditions. • Collaborate with other engineering departments, component suppliers, manufacturers and external experts. • Contribute to certification processes and technical documentation in line with Nordex project standards. • Support the integration of concrete tower components into wind turbine systems. YOUR PROFILE: • Master's degree in Civil Engineering. • At least 5 years of experience in structural design and analysis, ideally in the wind energy sector. • Solid knowledge of fatigue analysis, structural dynamics, and prestressed concrete. • Familiarity with relevant standards such as IEC 61400-6, Eurocodes, Model Codes and DIBt. • Experience with fatigue-stressed concrete and steel structures, ideally towers or foundations. • Proven expertise in FEM simulation tools like ANSYS or Abaqus. • Understanding of bolted flange connections according to Eurocode. • Team player with proactive mindset and strong communication skills. • Optional: Programming skills for engineering applications. • Fluency in English; knowledge of German or Spanish is a plus. • Willingness to travel occasionally. Your Tasks: • Utilize your technical expertise and commercial understanding to optimize projects from a total value and Cost of Energy (COE) perspective, both internally and in customer workshops. • Conduct in-depth analytical assessments to optimize projects and enhance Nordex's profitability (commercial analytics, financial analysis, etc.). • Ensure that all project requirements are clearly defined, and that new optimization ideas are efficiently evaluated and implemented within the organization, while driving continuous process improvement. • Represent Project Optimization in strategic discussions within Product Strategy and provide senior management with insights on winning strategies for key markets and high-priority deals. • Assess the competitiveness of Nordex products and deliver market expertise and commercial insights to support the development of new products within Product Strategy. Your Profile: • University degree in Engineering (M.Sc. or equivalent) or a Business/Economics degree with a strong technical background. • 5-10 years of experience in product management, product development, project development, or technical sales, ideally within the wind energy industry or a large international company. • Strong ability to build relationships and communicate effectively across a global organization. • Highly analytical and strategic, with a holistic approach and strong problem-solving skills. • Self-driven with a proven ability to drive topics to success in complex environments. • Fluent in English; knowledge of Spanish and German is a plus.
