(SST) is looking for a welder/fabricator who is experienced in GTAW and GMAW welding processes on stainless steel. SST fabricators work with 20ga - 7ga stainless steel to manufacture stainless steel vessels of varying sizes and designs. Applicants must have fabrication experience using typical shop tools such as welders, grinders, polishing tools, saws, drills, etc. and must possess a mindset of quality workmanship. Duties • Ability to read instructions, shop drawings, and work orders for the job • Plan details of working procedure, tools, and material requirements • Fabrication of products by cutting, shearing, forming, flanging and dishing various material sizes with supervision. • Forklift and overhead crane operation. • Adhere to design specifications and related welding procedure specification documents • Participates in design reviews • Must possess a mindset for efficiency and quality workmanship. • Keep equipment and work area clean and orderly • Abide by company policies • Minimum 40-hour work weeks. In the busy seasons, overtime may be required. • Must be willing to work on swing shift if needed. • Willingness and ability to cross-train • Other duties as assigned Skills • High School diploma or GED. • Machine operation (shears, brakes, etc.) is highly desirable. • Accredited trade or vocational school welding certificate a plus. • Valid Driver’s License • Must be able to past a pre-employment drug screen.
