As a Welder, you will work in a dynamic, high-energy production environment to fabricate stainless steel equipment used in food processing. You will use blue-prints and engineering drawings to fit and weld assemblies and sub-assemblies. Swing Shift offers a 4-day work week schedule and a shift differential equal to 15% additional pay! What you will need to be successful • High school education, community college weld program, technical weld school, or equivalent experience. • Three years’ experience in welding fabrication. Basic GMAW and GTAW abilities. • Knowledge of gas torch and plasma equipment, overhead crane operations, pneumatic hand tools such grinders. • Able to use fixtures, templates, stops and/or guides. Welders at Key have experience in MIG, TIG, and TIP/TIG welding. We would be impressed if you had: • Skills in all forms of GMAW welding. • Your competence in reading and fully understanding manufacturing drawings. • The ability to work with minimum supervision. • Your ability to contribute to the team’s performance. • Your confidence with measurements, tolerances, and both imperial measurement and metric system.
