The primary duties include heating and bending to form metal shapes, drilling, torch cutting, hammer forging, grinding, sawing, and fitting of metal parts. The Welder, Maintenance will also perform metal work and sheet metal work to buildings, structures, and facilities. Typical duties include but are not limited to: • Welding shall be performed on light, heavy guage and headlined metals using flat, vertical horizontal and overhead positions. • Shall accomplish all work utilizing materials which match or exceed the quality of similar components on the same building. • Shall fabricate, install, and repair security screens, partitions, and gates.
