Overview We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, stick) to join metal parts in different positions (flat, vertical, overhead) while maintaining proper weld quality and bead appearance. Duties • Perform welding tasks using various techniques, ensuring adherence to codes and standards. • Read blueprints and welding drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures • Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements • MIG and TIG welding • Clean and deburr finished weldments and inspect for weld quality and completeness • Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project requirements. • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety protocols. • Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure quality standards are met. • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively. Requirements • Proven experience as a fabricator/welder with a strong understanding of welding • Ability to prepare, read, and interpret blueprints, reports, instructions, procedures, and guidelines • Proven success as a welder • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask • Good communication skills • High school diploma or equivalent, with demonstrated knowledge of math and/or science • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
