Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Metal Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years experience with steel fab metalwork with a strong understanding of mechanical processes and safety standards. This role involves working with various metals, tools, and machinery to produce high-quality components in accordance with project specifications and industry codes. The . Responsibilities • Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project requirements. • Operate welding equipment including MIG welding techniques to join metal components. • Use hand tools, power tools and other fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal parts. • Measure materials accurately using calipers, micrometers, and other precision instruments. • Weld Jig design, prototype fab, check fixture design & fab. • Welding, grinding, sanding, polishing, drilling, tapping and finishing. • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety procedures and guidelines. • Requirements • Knowledge of routine fabrication machinery. • Ability to perform precise measurements using a tape measure, squares, weld gauges, and other precision instruments. • Advanced MIG welding skills. • Weld cleanup, polishing and finishing skills. • Experience in fabricating work from sketches and blueprints. • Detail oriented with the ability to work independently. • Strong work ethic, trustworthy, punctual. • Excellent attention to detail combined with good communication skills.
