As a Renewable Energy Specialist I, you’ll play a vital role in the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of our renewable energy assets—making a direct impact on our team, our customers, and the environment. What You’ll Do: • Build and maintain wind and solar technology, ensuring our renewable energy sites operate at peak performance. • Collaborate with contractors and internal teams to troubleshoot, repair, and optimize major components for GE and Vestas wind turbines, as well as solar installations. • Lead site operations, including environmental inspections, outage restoration, and support for line crews and underground cable location. • Ensure safe site access, perform building and yard maintenance, and support snow removal and road upkeep for turbine strings. • Implement best practices in safety, efficiency, and compliance, including NERC Generator Owner requirements and internal controls. • Expect some travel and after-hours coverage to best accomplish these responsibilities. What We’re Looking For: We’re seeking candidates who are motivated self-starters with a strong safety culture and a passion for renewable energy.
