Solar and Home Efficiency Consultant

We are seeking a highly professional and results-driven Sales Consultant to join our expanding team. Position Summary The Solar & Home Efficiency Sales Consultant is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying customer needs, presenting tailored solutions, and managing the full sales cycle from initial consultation to contract execution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in consultative sales, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a thorough understanding of residential energy systems. Primary Responsibilities • Conduct comprehensive in-home or virtual consultations to evaluate customer energy profiles and recommend appropriate solutions. • Present solar and home efficiency products using a data-driven, consultative approach. • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline through company-generated leads, networking, referrals, and targeted outreach. • Prepare and deliver professional proposals, financial analyses, and project summaries. • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities within the CRM system. • Coordinate with internal teams—including operations, engineering, and customer support—to ensure seamless project execution. • Stay current on industry regulations, incentives, financing programs, and emerging technologies. Preferred Qualifications • Minimum 1 years of experience in solar, home performance, HVAC, roofing, or related technical sales. • Demonstrated success in a quota-driven sales role. • Familiarity with energy efficiency concepts, utility billing structures, and renewable energy incentives. • Proficiency with CRM platforms. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate technical and financial information. • Bilingual capabilities are advantageous.
