DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: • Performs assigned tasks under the direction and guidance of the department Lead Hand • Assemble panels under the direction of the Sr. Sheet Metal Operator and/or the department Lead Hand • Install assemblies, such as flashing, wall panels, insulation, and heating & air conditioning ducts in supportive frameworks as instructed • Drill and punch holes in metal, for screws, bolts, and rivets. • Trim, file, grind, deburr, buff, and smooth surfaces, seams, and joints of assembled parts, using hand tools and portable power tools as directed • Willingness to cross-train and perform the work of other job tasks in addition to the primary assigned position.
