Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Sheet Metal Construction Apprentice to assist skilled journeymen in the construction, installation, alteration, and repair of sheet metal products and equipment. This role involves working according to blueprints, drawings, and work orders while providing guidance to less experienced team members. Education and Experience: • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred. • 18-24 months of related experience and/or training required. Skills and Abilities: • Experience in assembling hoods and sheet metal for air-conditioning and heating units. • Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately. • Proficient in troubleshooting service issues with thoughtful and effective solutions. • Demonstrated safe and proper use of tools and equipment. • Commitment to providing quality, professional customer service. • Excellent communication skills, able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. • Ability to handle challenges professionally and resiliently. • Capacity to work independently in commercial and construction environments.
