Aircraft Structures/Sheet Metal Technician

The Aircraft Structures/Sheet Metal Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing aircraft components and airframe structural supports. Essential Functions: • Read, interpret, plan & work from Structural Repair Manuals, engineering drawings, and Service Bulletins. • Complete skin repairs requiring doublers or triplers containing complex contours. • Complete complex repairs and replacements that require substantial disassembly, such as wing spar, keel beam, or other support structures. • Remove/install aircraft components as required. • Perform minor structural repairs on composite components. • Assist in conducting hidden damage inspection of aircraft structures. • Assist with complex structural repairs either on or off aircraft. Assist with aircraft component repair. Requirements: • 2+ years of experience working aircraft structures. • Ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings. • Ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form on individual and / or aircraft status. • A&P Certified is preferred, but not required. Hiring Immediately Sheet Metal Mechanics and Foreman

Hiring Immediately!! 17.00 - 36.0 DOE 2 weeks vacation the 1st year 6 paid holidays Life Insurance Health, Dental, & Vision Insurance Long Term Disability Local work (no travel or per-diem) Sheet Metal Summary: Lays out, assembles, installs all areas of commercial/industrial HVAC installations including any duct-work, setting and starting up split and package systems. Gas piping, venting, and electrical as well. Perform journeyman level construction, installation, alteration, and repair of sheet metal products and equipment in accordance with blueprints, drawings, and work orders; provide technical guidance and direction to lower-level employees. Essential Duties and Responsibilities for Sheet Metal crews: (include but are not limited to) • Install, alter and repair sheet metal products and equipment - ducts and hoods for HVAC systems utilizing blueprints, drawings, and work orders on the construction job site. • Plan and coordinate tasks and amount of material required for the performance of work • Prepare and implement equipment based on need. Including, but not limited to power saws, drill presses, hand and power shears, pan and box brakes, lock-formers, cleat benders, and rollers to cut, punch, thread, and form sheet metal • Coordinate and Assemble ducts, hoods, and other sheet metal products. Tasks include, but are not limited to solder and bolt connections; apply insulation as required; inspect assemblies and installation for conformance with specifications • Quality Assurance - operational checks of ducts and other sheet metal installations to determine quality and any necessary corrective action that may need to be taken • Provide direction and technical guidance to less-experienced workers Skills and Abilities for a Sheet Metal hand: • Minimum of 4 years experience in sheet metal installation and fabrication. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints (mechanics) accurately • Ability to troubleshoot service issues with systematic, thoughtful, timely, and effective solutions and procedures on the construction job site • Demonstrate proper and safe use of tools and related equipment • Ability to work and communicate effectively individually as well as in a team environment • Ability to handle disruptions in stride with professionalism • Ability to work independently in commercial and construction settings.
