Commercial HVAC sheet metal journeypersons (mechanics and installers) needed! Employment type: Full-time Pay: $31 - $33 per hour depending on experience Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Sheet Metal journeyperson to join our team. Sheet Metal Superintendent

We are a large growing HVAC contractor in South Carolina that works on many of South Carolina's biggest and best HVAC projects. This is a full-time position with great benefits. We are planning to hire South Carolina's best and brightest Sheet Metal Superintendent's in the near future. Responsibilities: Provide a safe work environment and exceed OSHA requirements. Review submittals, change orders, material take offs, and time sheets. Ensure accuracy and compliance: budget, reviews, OSHA standards, work rules, monitoring labor, project scheduling and maintain "two week" look ahead schedule. Coordinating, blueprint reading, sketching, layout, material take off, and confirm that construction drawings and specs agree with contract scope. Attend events, job sites, and meet closely with GC's, owners, as well as sub-contractors and MEP-Design Engineers. Requirements: 4+ years of experience as Sheet Metal Superintendent. Prior hands-on field experience in HVAC ductwork/Sheet Metal experience. Strong knowledge in: State HVAC Building Codes, QC, and OSHA Standards.
