Unpack and examine incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages and correspond with Shipper to rectify damages and shortages • Read work orders or follow verbal instructions to move items into and out of storage, Kitting area and/or production areas. Maintain necessary information and record for inventory locations on the computer and ensure appropriate flow with the materials/goods throughout the process • Perform cycle counting functions to ensure proper inventory levels • Select containers for parts or products • Pack and seal parts, coils or sections into or onto fabricated containers or skids. • Load materials into/onto trucks and install strapping, bracing or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit • Use overhead crane and sheet lifter to load and unload sheet metal to maintain proper inventory in Nighttrain • Monitor and empty scrap tanks as assigned • Oversee the incoming materials and kitting process to ensure that purchased part kits are complete and meet production requirements. Responsible for receiving and issuing of all material for area. Trystar’s Assistant Supervisor - Sheet Metal Fabrication position is an important part of Trystar’s plan to become the world’s foremost custom solution provider. Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, Assistant Supervisor - Sheet Metal Fabrication is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of a team of fabricators in a manufacturing environment. They play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and high-quality fabrication of components and assemblies according to engineering drawings and specifications.
