Duties • Able to program & run a Metal Shear and Metal Brake (Roper Whitney) • Measure for roof edge metal details. • Able to install metal on roof edge. • Execute frame carpentry tasks related to sheet metal installation • Able to get to work in a timely manner. • Have reliable transportation & valid driver's license • Workdays are Monday – Friday, hours range 8-10 hours a day • Handle heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely and efficiently. • Follow OSHA guidelines for construction sites Skills • Competent in using various hand tools relevant to the trade. (Able to read and use a tape measure, hand tools, and power tools) • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely. • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. • No fear of heights • Able to climb up and down ladders, sit, kneel & stand • Must pass a pre-employment Drug test • Wear proper attire: work boots, long pants and shirts without holes • CDL a plus (but not required) Laraway Roofing will help to acquire. • Crane License a plus (but not required) Laraway Roofing will help to acquire.
