Experience • Proven experience in metal fabrication or a related field is preferred. • Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication techniques is a must. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. • Ability to operate a forklift. Sheet Metal Fabricator (SMF)/Press Breaks

Job Title: Sheet Metal Fabricator (SMF)/Press Breaks Location: 701 Lilac Drive N Golden Valley, MN 55422 Duration: 6 Months (high possibility for temp to perm) Pay Rate: $20.96 24.47/hr on W2 (Including all benefits) Shift: M-Th / 3:00 PM to 1:00 AM The Intermediate Sheet Metal Fabricator is responsible for the safe set up and operation of manual sheet metal machines to achieve established quality and efficiency standards. Working within a team, you'll create quality parts that go into Tennant products. If you self-driven, enjoy use your problem solving then this is the role for you. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: " Set up and operate Cincinnati CNC press brakes, CNC Mazak, Trumpf, and/or Amada lasers " Run manual sheet metal machines " Operate additional machines or process steps internal to primary to machine cycle times " Perform cutting and/or shaping metal from raw form into usable parts for Assembly or Aftermarket needs " Utilize equipment and measurement tools to drive part accuracy within print tolerances and minimize Quality Notifications and Scrap " Process may be non-descript or variable, requiring changeovers/setup, troubleshooting, and adjustment to complete assigned tasks " Adept at performing 2 or more processes proficiently within the department " Assist other operators in understanding quality expectations " Act as an agent of change on the shop floor by influencing peers EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: " High school diploma or equivalent " Technical degree and 2 or more years of related Sheet Metal Fabrication experience or 5 or more years of Sheet Metal Fabrication experience " Previous press brake operating experience is required. Prefer Cincinnati experience " Must be able to obtain a forklift license through Tennant Co " Two years general sheet metal training or two years vocational training in sheet metal or related field preferred " Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship REQUIRED PHYSICAL DEMANDS: " Requires standing 90% of shift " Frequent bending, twisting, squatting and lifting with arms extended " Must be able to lift up to 45 lbs. Average part weighs 5 - 15 lbs. Salary: $80k - $95k DOE The Crew Facility Maintenance is an established specialty contractor in the Mechanical, Plumbing, and Building Service areas fields of construction. The Crew is looking for a general Sheetmetal foreman to join its growing mechanical team.
