Sheet Metal Fabrication Sales Representative (Territory: ME, VT, NH, MA, CT, NY, RI)

Description: Position Overview: This individual will be responsible for promoting company products and services to existing customers and developing opportunities with new customers within the assigned territory. This is a career position with the world leader in tooling and laser consumables for sheet metal fabricators. We service customers in over 85 countries helping them reduce costs and improve operating efficiencies through the proper application of best-in-class tooling and services. This position will focus on supporting customers in the Eastern region of The United States including; Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, and Rhode Island. Regular and frequent travel (up to 75%) is required and this individual must reside within the designated territory. Responsibilities: Position Requirements & Responsibilities: • Use your experience in sheet metal fabrication to improve our customers' productivity. Training related to our product offering will be provided. • Assist customers by demonstrating how advanced tooling applications improve manufacturing efficiencies. • Build rapport with your accounts and have fun while providing the necessary assistance. • Perform demonstrations of company products or services at customer locations. • Develop a network of referrals to capture opportunities for adding new customers. • Maintain a strong network of OEM dealers to enhance opportunities and promote their products. • Conduct customer meetings via in-person and teleconferencing. • Maintain accurate records including meetings, expense reports, customer profiles, and other documentation. • Provide accurate information to customer service to ensure accurate quoting and manufacturing. • Attend training for sales and products when needed. • Remain current on new product and service offerings. • Be the front line for market condition changes and share with management. Requirements: • Experience in sheet metal fabrication and/or operations is required. • Residence within the territory (Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, or Rhode Island) is required. • Ability to travel within your territory (up to 75%) and overnight travel required. • Shop experience with punch presses, lasers, and/or press brakes is required. • Knowledge of and/or experience with Mate tooling is strongly preferred. • Strong technical skills. • Sales experience is a plus. • Professional demeanor and appearance with good verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to work independently. • Strong team player. • High level of integrity and work ethic. • Ability to utilize Microsoft products and CRM software. • Possess a valid driver's license. • High school diploma or GED required.
