Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC)/ Heat Pump Installer Technician to join our team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC /Heat Pump systems in residential and commercial settings. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience with HVAC design, sheet metal license and a background in related fields such as plumbing and refrigeration. A valid driver’s license is required for travel to job sites. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects utilizing a variety of technical skills in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities • Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units, mini-splits, ducted heat pumps and refrigeration equipment according to specifications and schematics • Conduct system diagnostics and troubleshoot mechanical issues using tools such as ohmmeters and other testing devices • Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and equipment upgrades on HVAC/R systems • Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to ensure accurate installation • Assist with plumbing connections related to HVAC systems and ensure compliance with safety standards • Braze components as needed for system assembly or repair projects • Diagnose electrical issues related to HVAC equipment and perform necessary repairs or replacements • Ensure all installations meet local codes, safety regulations, and quality standards • Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used during service calls Experience • Construction or service technician experience preferred, especially in HVAC installation or maintenance • Master Sheet Metal License required. • Knowledge of HVAC/R systems including refrigeration, air conditioning, mini-split, ducted heat pumps • Familiarity with mechanical systems such as plumbing, brazing, HVAC repair. • Ability to read schematics and understand HVAC design principles • Experience with field service operations involving equipment repair and maintenance • Mechanical knowledge of various tools including ohmmeters and welding equipment • Prior experience working with HVAC/R systems or as a mechanic is highly desirable • Valid driver’s license (PERSON driver preferred) for travel between job sites This position requires a dedicated professional capable of working independently or as part of a team to deliver high-quality installation and service.
