Plumber - Arlington

Overview: Baker Brothers Plumbing, Air & Electric is currently seeking Service Plumbers to join our team comprised of creative and energetic employees, who are dedicated to delivering the best customer service experience every day. Plumbing related tasks include: water heater replacement and repair, fixture replacement (to include faucets, tubs, showers and toilets), drain cleaning and competent use of conventional sewer machines. This position will act as a mentor to Plumbing Apprentices. Plumbing Apprentice - Residential

We value our employees and offer a supportive and growth-oriented work environment. Job Description: We are currently seeking a Plumbing Apprentice to join our growing team. As a Residential Service & Repair Plumber, you will learn to diagnose, repair, and install plumbing systems and fixtures in residential homes across the DFW area. You will be expected to provide exceptional customer service, communicate effectively with the team, property managers and tenants, and ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. Due to our customer base, no upselling is required as part of the role. Responsibilities: • Learn to respond to service calls and diagnose plumbing issues efficiently and accurately. • Perform a wide range of residential plumbing repairs, including but not limited to: • Leak detection and repair • Drain cleaning and unclogging • Faucet and fixture repair and replacement • Water heater repair and installation (tank and tankless) • Toilet repair and replacement • Pipe repair and replacement • Sewer and water line repairs • Ensuring all work is performed in compliance with local plumbing codes and safety regulations. • Interacting professionally with clients (property managers and their tenants) and providing excellent customer service. • Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and timely. Qualifications: • Valid Texas Apprentice Plumber License is REQUIRED. • Valid Texas Driver's License with a clean driving record. • High school diploma or GED • Proven experience as a residential service plumber (minimum 1 year). • Basic knowledge of residential plumbing systems, codes, and best practices. • Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Strong communication and customer service skills. • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and work in various conditions (e.g., confined spaces, outdoors). • Professional appearance and demeanor. • Reliable and punctual. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with specific plumbing software (e.g., Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan).
