Wellman Services is currently hiring Plumbers. Pay: Dependent on experience. Job Duties and Responsibilities: · Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures (such as sinks, toilets, and water heaters) in commercial and residential structures · Collaborate with general contractors, electricians, and other professionals during construction. · Perform routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems, identifying and diagnosing plumbing problems using appropriate tools and techniques · Completes light construction, carpentry, painting, plastering, flooring, ceiling, and electrical work as required · Keep accurate records of time spent working, description of work performed, and materials used · Adhere to all plumbing building codes and regulations · Ensure all work meets safety standards and follows best practices Qualifications: · Strong understanding of plumbing systems, including water supply and drainage · Knowledge of local building plumbing codes and regulations · Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing challenges accordingly · Communication and intrapersonal skills, including customer service · Creative thinking and problem-solving skills · Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings · Familiarity with the intricacies of working with PVC, CPVC, PEX, cast iron, and copper · Attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously · Proficiency in basic mathematics and measurement conversion Requirements: · 5 years of experience or more is preferred in both residential and commercial plumbing · Capable of completing assignments with little supervision · Valid Driver’s License Benefits: · Matched 401(k) · Health Benefits Available · Paid Holidays · Paid Time Off To Apply: Contact twellman@wellmanservices.biz or trent.wise@jfs.ohio.gov with “Wellman Plumber” in the subject line or apply in-person at 2300 Central Point Pkwy, Lima, OH 45804 Job Type: Full-time Work Location: In person
