Job Duties and Responsibilities: • Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures (such as sinks, toilets, and water heaters) in commercial and residential structures • Collaborate with general contractors, electricians, and other professionals during construction. • Perform routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems, identifying and diagnosing plumbing problems using appropriate tools and techniques • Completes light construction, carpentry, painting, plastering, flooring, ceiling, and electrical work as required • Keep accurate records of time spent working, description of work performed, and materials used • Adhere to all plumbing building codes and regulations • Ensure all work meets safety standards and follows best practices Qualifications: • Strong understanding of plumbing systems, including water supply and drainage • Knowledge of local building plumbing codes and regulations • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing challenges accordingly • Communication and intrapersonal skills, including customer service • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings • Familiarity with the intricacies of working with PVC, CPVC, PEX, cast iron, and copper • Attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously • Proficiency in basic mathematics and measurement conversion Requirements: • 5 years of experience or more is preferred in both residential and commercial plumbing • Capable of completing assignments with little supervision • Valid Driver’s License Benefits: • Matched 401(k) • Health Benefits Available • Paid Holidays • Paid Time Off To Apply: Contact Tom Wellman at 567-712-7015 or by email at twellman@wellmanservices.biz or apply in-person at 200 E.
