Plumbing Service Technician

What You’ll Be Doing: • Responding to residential service calls to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair a variety of plumbing issues—everything from leaky faucets and clogged drains to water heater problems and pipe leaks. • Communicating clearly and professionally with homeowners to explain issues, recommend solutions, and provide upfront estimates before starting work. • Performing routine maintenance services, inspections, and minor installations (e.g., toilets, faucets, garbage disposals, etc.). • Keeping accurate records of work performed, parts used, and customer interactions using service software or work orders. • Ensuring every home is left clean and in better shape than when you arrived, protecting floors, wearing booties and respecting the customer's space. • Staying up to date with local plumbing codes and best practices. • Being available for rotating on-call shifts, emergency calls and after-hours service when needed. What You Bring: • Solid experience handling residential plumbing service calls—you’re confident walking into any home and quickly identifying the problem. • At least 2 years of hands-on plumbing experience preferred. • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and Florida residential construction processes. • Clean driving record. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. • Excellent troubleshooting skills with attention to detail and efficiency. • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset. • A valid Florida driver’s license and reliable transportation to the job. You will also be required to design and inspect plumbing systems, perform diagnostics, and ensure they comply with regulatory codes. To be successful as a plumber you should be able to work independently and solve problems as quickly and efficiently as possible. To excel in this position, you should have strong technical skills, be a master at troubleshooting and enjoy dealing with people. Physical Requirements: • This position requires the performance of moderate to heavy physical work: Plumber may be required to lift up to 100 lbs occasionally, up to 50 lbs frequently, up to 20 lbs constantly and perform activities such as b ending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, puling, lifting and grasping for up to five (5) hours without sitting. • The position may also involve some repetitive motions of the hands, wrists and elbows.
