WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING HERE? • New plumbing and mechanical systems installation. Our work mostly consists of piping of varying sizes and types. Depending on your experience, you don't need to know how to do it all, but you do need to be willing to help or grow wherever necessary. • Demo work of existing plumbing systems when necessary. Sometimes our work is renovation. • Top candidates may be required to competently read drawings/specs/schematics and provide crew management, including crew layout for up to 6 people. SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS • Worked in the commercial plumbingmechanical trade for 4 years or more • knowledgeable with the installation of sanitary, grease waste, indirect/special waste, storm, venting systems, domestic water, plumbing fixtures, and equipment • Medical gas certification is a plus, not a requirement • Can install different piping systems using various materials such as service-weight cast iron, PVC sanitarydomestic water systems, acid waste, no-hub cast iron, sweatpro-press copper systems, groove piping systems of copper, stainless steel, and carbon steelfusion piping systems • Can lift and carry up to 50lbs • Owns all hand tools required to install all the above plumbing systems (power tools provided by R&S) • Willing to work on lifts or scaffolds as needed • Encourages the "next generation" and easily shares their knowledge and skills • Is organized and clean, allowing an efficient work area • Reliable transportation The following qualifications are preferred but not required: • A valid plumbing license (tradesman, journeyman, or master plumber) • A boiler class 3 certification • OSHA 10 training certification or higher.
