Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Independent Contractor Plumber to join our team in Lawton, OK. The ideal candidate will have extensive plumbing experience in both residential and commercial settings, with a strong focus on septic tank and sewer line projects. You’ll be working independently on assigned work orders, using your own tools and equipment. Responsibilities • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties • Inspect, repair, and maintain septic tanks and sewer systems • Assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures using proper tools • Read blueprints and schematics to determine plumbing layouts • Conduct inspections to identify issues and recommend solutions • Collaborate with other construction professionals on remodeling projects • Ensure compliance with plumbing codes, safety standards, and building regulations • Maintain a clean and safe work environment Qualifications • Minimum 5 years of plumbing experience residential • Strong knowledge of septic tank and sewer systems • Must have own tools and equipment • Proficient in using plumbing hand tools and power tools • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics • Knowledge of construction site safety protocols • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills • Valid driver’s license (ability to operate commercial vehicles is a plus) Job Type & Compensation • Independent Contractor (1099) • Flexible schedule / As needed • Paid per completed work order Job Type: Part-time Work Location: On the road
