Posting Number 20166861S Job Description Under general direction of a lead worker or supervision by departmental administrator, performs highly skilled plumbing repairs and installation of existing and/or new plumbing & maintains building facilities & equipment. Provides work direction, training & mentoring of lower level plumbers and/or other trades workers performing craft duties. • Adheres to all OSHA and/or Ohio University required safety guidelines; • Provides work direction, training and mentoring of lower level plumbers and/or trades workers performing craft duties; • Repairs existing plumbing and installs new plumbing (e.g., unclogs commodes, sinks and sewage lines; installs tubs, showers, water closets, laundry equipment, drinking fountains and kitchen, laundry, hospital and heating equipment; • Performs other miscellaneous duties (e.g., orders supplies, work scheduling, materials and equipment; prepares job estimates; maintains job records and completes necessary documentation; • Uses Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS); • Performs other related duties as required.
