Job Description Lilac is seeking a Pipefitter / Instrumentation Tubing / Plumber for installing primarily Schedule 80 PVC piping, valves, regulators and related piping components. Metal piping and components of various alloys is performed on a limited basis. Candidate will work closely with engineering and aid in design. Work primarily involves process skids and modules. Requires experience with industrial and construction equipment installations. Responsibilities • Must work in full compliance with all approved safety regulations • Use machinery and equipment, such as forklifts, to move mechanical parts • Collaborate with engineers and other crafts, workers and engineers • Install piping, valves, fittings, regulators and related piping components • Pipe threading and joining as required • Review and interpret engineering specifications, schematics, and P&IDs to determine work procedures • Determine which tools and methods to use Candidate Qualifications • 3+ years of hands-on work as either a pipefitter, instrumentation tubing fitter, steam fitter, or plumber • Able to read engineering prints and P&IDs. • Experience working on industrial construction and maintenance projects, facilities and equipment • Strong communication and computational skills • Completion of an accredited training program or equivalent OJT.
