We’re currently seeking a highly skilled Master Plumber and Pipefitter with experience in both residential and commercial work to join our growing team. You can choose to only do service and installation work or take the opportunity to step into a leadership role and help guide the plumbing and heating division as it expands. Position Overview: As a Master Plumber and Pipefitter, you will play a critical role in the execution of plumbing and heating installations, repairs, and upgrades for a variety of residential and commercial projects. Key Responsibilities: • Install, repair, maintain plumbing and heating systems for residential and/or commercial construction projects, including kitchens, baths, additions, and full-home remodels. • Ensure all plumbing and heating work is completed according to local codes and regulations. • Work collaboratively with project managers, contractors, and other tradespeople to ensure timely and high-quality project completion. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with safety standards. • Continuously review and improve plumbing and heating practices for efficiency and quality. Qualifications: • Proven experience as a Master Plumber and Pipefitter. • Extensive hands-on experience with kitchen, bath, additions, and full-home remodeling projects. • In-depth knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and safety standards. • Experience with Buildertrend or other project management software is a plus. • Valid Master Plumber’s and Pipefitter License in Rhode Island. Massachusetts is a plus. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications. • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with clients and colleagues effectively. • Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Job Summary: The Journeyman Plumber responsibilities will include but are not limited to installing, repairing, and maintaining commercial and residential plumbing systems. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: • Installs, repairs, and maintains chilled water, steam, heat, water, gas, drainage, sewage, and other plumbing systems. • Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout and installation of plumbing systems. • Operates reamers, threading dies, pipe cutters, drain snakes, and other plumbing equipment and hand tools. • Cut, thread, & install various types of pipe; cast, PVC, CPVC, PEX, copper • Inspects joints, valves, pumps, boilers, heaters, sinks, commodes, tanks, and other plumbing system components to locate malfunctions and repairs or replaces as necessary. • Maintains accurate records on material and labor used. • Inspects jobs upon completion and ensures areas are clean.
