Job Summary We are seeking a skilled licensed Pipefitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pipefitting, welding, and mechanical systems. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems in various settings, including commercial and industrial environments. The Pipefitter will work closely with other tradespeople to ensure that all installations meet safety standards and specifications. We specialize in many different trades from plumbing, pipe fitting, electrical, sprinkler fitting, stainless and carbon steel welding, orbital welding. Responsibilities • Install, repair, and maintain piping systems for water, gas, steam, and other fluids. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout and installation procedures. • Utilize various welding techniques including MIG, FCAW, TIG, and stick welding as required. • Perform minor plumbing tasks. • Must be willing to perform plumbing sprinkler fitting and other task • Conduct pipe threading, tube bending, soldering, and assembly tasks as needed. • Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. • Carry out maintenance tasks on existing piping systems to ensure optimal performance. • Collaborate with construction teams on-site to coordinate installation schedules and project timelines. • Adhere to ASME codes & standards during all installations and repairs. • Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety protocols. Skills • Proficient in MIG welding, FCAW, TIG welding, stick welding, and soldering techniques. • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. • Experience reading blueprints and schematics for accurate installation planning. • Familiarity with HVAC systems and fire sprinkler fitting is preferred. • Knowledge of pipe threading techniques and tube bending processes. • Ability to use calipers for precise measurements in pipe fitting tasks. • Experience in rigging for safe lifting of heavy materials or equipment. • Background in construction or manufacturing environments is advantageous. • Basic math skills for calculations related to measurements and material requirements. • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
