Job Scope: • Perform in the field of mechanical/process/petroleum industries using related experience and knowledge standards and codes • Reads and interpret work scope, engineered drawings, and PI&Ds to determine work procedures and build method. • Works in a safe manner according to company and site safety standards. • Past welding certification history is a plus. • Qualified individuals must possess a full range of mechanical knowledge as well as the ability to fabricate and install piping and equipment as specified on drawings and PI&Ds. Must be proficient with common typed of pipe connections such as grooved, threaded, soldered, brazed and welded. • This individual should have excellent communication skills and be a team player. • A strong customer-service focus is essential to succeed in this position.Interested candidates should be willing to work flexible hours to meet the installation needs of our customers. • Able to work overtime when needed. • Must be able to successfully complete a background and DOT drug screening. Education: A High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED), Vocational School Training is helpful but not required Experience: three to ten years of related experience SKILLS & ABILITIES: Computer Skills: Emailing and smart phone knowledge Certificates & Licenses required: Process Pipefitting License and or registered apprentice with 3 or more years’ experience Other Requirements: Valid Drivers License - Class D & OSHA 10 Certification

Apprentice Pipefitter

POSITION SUMMARY: Assist Journeyman by performing duties asked of him/her by the Foreman or Journeyman. Duties include using, supplying or holding materials or tools, and cleaning work area and equipment. The Apprentice shall attend classes and be registered with the state. They shall also work toward becoming a Journeyman within the allotted time and according to state test prerequisites. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Assist journeyman by performing rough-ins, repairing and replacing fixtures, and locating and repairing leaking or broken pipes. • Assist journeyman in the layout, assembly and installation of piping for air, ammonia, gas and water systems. • Requisition tools and equipment, select type and size of pipe, collect and transport materials and equipment to work site. • Cut or drill holes in walls or floors to accommodate the passage of pipes. • Mount brackets and hangers on walls and ceilings to hold pipes, and set sleeves or inserts to provide support for pipes. • Fit or assist in fitting valves, couplings, or assemblies to tanks, pumps or systems, using hand tools. • Excavate and grade ditches, and lay and join pipe for water and sewer service. • Disassemble and remove damaged or worn pipe. • Clean shop, work area, and machines, using solvent and rags.
