These are mainly first shift opportunities with a pay rate of $30-40/hour dependent on experience & skill level. Job Profile The company is searching for a Journeyman Pipefitter/Welder to join its team. Educational Qualification • The applicants should have a minimum of a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent • Age – must be 18 years old or older Work Experience • The candidates should have a minimum of 4 years of welding experience in a manufacturing setting • Journeyman certification or equivalent experience (4 years experience with pipe welding MIG, TIG, and Stick) Preferred Qualifications • Experience welding Hastelloy and other nickel-based alloys, stainless steel, and aluminum • Experience with measuring field components, creating isometric drawings, and interpreting isometric drawings • Experience with Microsoft applications like Excel, Word, and PowerPoint • Experience with pressure vessel and heat exchanger fabrication and repair • Experience with SAP • MIG, TIG, and Stick welding capability Duties/Responsibilities • Advises and cautions operators, tradesmen, supervisors about potential problems, recurring failures, and inherent dangers involved • Fabricates parts if not commercially available, using machines and hand tools common to the trade • May oversee apprentices. Job Title: Industrial Pipe FitterJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Industrial Pipe Fitter to join our team, focusing on the installation, servicing, and upgrading of industrial piping systems within large manufacturing facilities.ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret pipe schematics and isometric prints.Cut pipe according to blueprint specifications using saws, hammers, chisels, cutting torch, and pipe cutting machines.Thread and bend pipe using chisels and cutting torch.Assemble pipes through welding, brazing, and soldering.Secure pipes to structures with brackets, clamps, hangers, and various hand/power tools.Inspect, examine, and test installed pipes using pressure gauges and hydrostatic testing to ensure no leakage and meet tolerance and quality standards.Resolve any pipe issues such as clogs or leaks.Install, service, and upgrade industrial piping.Essential SkillsGreat Lakes Safety Training certification.OSHA 10 Certification.Minimum 3-4 years of experience in pipe fitting.Proficiency in reading blueprints and isometrics.Experience working with Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel, Black Steel, PTFE, etc.Experience with cutting, threading, bending, and fitting pipe larger than 3 inches.Additional Skills & QualificationsMust have their own tools.No union affiliation within the last 5 years.Why Work Here?Enjoy weekly pay and regular overtime opportunities.
