Required Qualifications* • Graduation from high school, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. • Current Journey Plumber’s license (maintained for the duration of employment in the classification) and backflow certification (maintained for the duration of employment in the classification). • Considerable knowledge of the methods, equipment, and materials used in the installation and repair of domestic water, steam, heating, chilled water distribution systems and fixtures. • Reasonable experience in the installation and repair of water distribution systems and fixtures. Considerable skill in the operation of plumbing and pipefitting tools, power equipment, and machinery.
