Our team is passionate about automation powered by innovation! We’re seeking an experienced Senior Pipefitter to support automated tool assembly projects. This hands-on role focuses on the layout, installation, and troubleshooting of pneumatic and hydraulic components used in custom tooling. This role is responsible for laying out and routing pneumatic and hydraulic components according to project specifications. You will assemble, install, and repair tubing, pipe, and fittings, while diagnosing and resolving pneumatic issues and recommending necessary repairs. The position requires marking up engineering drawings to reflect changes and reporting those updates to relevant departments. You’ll collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to meet deadlines, maintain accurate time and work records in the ERP system, and ensure all tasks are completed safely and in compliance with company policies. Details about the role: Work location: Ryan Road Site, Warren, MI Work type: On-site at local Paslin locations. Not available for remote work. Expected hours of work: Typical work schedules for this site are 6am-230pm, Monday to Friday. Overtime: This position is for regular, full-time work and may require coming in early, working late, or working on weekends to meet the needs of the business. Travel: This position may require occasional travel to customer sites or local travel to other Paslin locations. Work Environment: This position operates in a manufacturing site environment. This is a safety sensitive role, which includes working around moving equipment and machinery. Physical Demands: The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, and twist. This role requires the use of hand held tools. Occasionally required to lift/push/pull up to 40lbs. Mechanical Journeyperson (Pipefitter) - Warren Tech Center

General Motors has a need for qualified Mechanical Journeypersons (Pipefitters). You will work under minimal supervision with a high level of independent judgement and problem solving. You should be flexible enough to take on and tackle multiple job assignments in a shift. Preferred Experience Includes: • Experience with planned maintenance systems and predictive technologies • Experience with industrial robotics, automation, and conveyance systems Primary Responsibilities: • Follow established safety procedures according to OSHA standards and company procedures • Maintain, dismantle, repair, and replace mechanical and hydraulic components (e. g. bearings, seals, details, carriers, etc.) on industrial machinery such as shafting, motors, generators, air compressors, engines, pumps, cylinders, gears, couplings, linkages, ball screws, high speed CNC spindles, coolant systems and filters, and combustion equipment and valves • Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems • Use various hand or power tools for measuring, cutting, threading, grooving, bending, soldering, assembling, joining, and installing pipes, valves, and fittings • Read and interpret blueprints for the mechanical operation and assembly of conveyor systems, material handling systems, robots, and other automation • Operate mobile equipment (e.g. forklifts, vertical lifts, cranes) • Determine loading requirements to rig equipment and material for lifting • Set up and operate conventional or computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders to cut, bore, grind, or otherwise shape parts to prescribed dimensions and finishes • Fabricate punches, tools, steel rule tools and t-sets to exact specifications • Plan sequences of operations for fabricating tools or assemblies using blueprints, sketches, or models • Determine quality of finished products, ensuring defect-free parts, by verifying dimensions, alignment, and clearances for conformance to specifications using measuring instruments such as calipers, gauge blocks, micrometers, and dial indicators Interested individuals must meet the following minimum qualifications: • At least six (6) years of related experience in Pipefitting or a U.S. Department of Labor Certificate of Completion in Pipefitting • Must be able to satisfactorily complete the General Motors hiring process requirements which includes   comprehensive assessments, drug testing, and a background check • At least 18 years of age • Eligible to work in the United States • Must be willing to work flexible shift hours and day, afternoon, or night shifts as well as overtime hours daily, weekend and holidays on those shifts with little notice • GM DOES NOT PROVIDE IMMIGRATION-RELATED SPONSORSHIP FOR THIS ROLE.  DO NOT APPLY FOR THIS ROLE IF YOU NEED OR WILL NEED GM IMMIGRATION SPONSORSHIP TO WORK OR TO REMAIN EMPLOYED AT GM (e.g., H-1B, TN, STEM OPT, etc.). • If you are a current GM employee operating under a collective bargaining agreement, please contact your local HR/LR for employee placement opportunities. • This position may be filled with a Journeyperson or Journeyperson In Training, the compensation ranges for a JIT include ($37.64 - 43.91) or Journeyperson rate of ($44.81). Pipefitting Supervisor for Site Installation

We’re looking for an experienced Supervisor for our Pipefitters in our Machine Tool Integration & Installation team to lead the layout, installation, and modification of pneumatic / hydraulic piping for advanced manufacturing systems. In this critical role, you’ll oversee system-level planning, establish component lists, and coordinate material procurement with the Plant Manager and Supply Chain. You’ll supervise pipefitters, and contractors, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. From troubleshooting complex systems to managing manpower and developing procedures, you’ll be the go-to expert for all things electrical and fluid power. Must be able to travel to sites in USA, Canada and Mexico. Work Environment: This position operates in both an office and a shop/plant environment, may be required to work at multiple facilities depending on workload. Work type & Expected hours of work: Regularly works on-site at customer sites, returning back to a local Paslin location, either Hoover, 10-Mile or Cherry Creek. Must be flexible to work at any of these three locations as needed for an extended period of time. During critical phases of the project, work hours may flex up to more than 12 hours per day. This position is for regular, full-time work and may require coming in early, working late, or working on weekends to meet the needs of the business.
