You’ll play a critical role in the installation of high-efficiency plumbing systems that align with HOWMZ’s design standards. The ideal candidate brings professionalism, precision, and a deep understanding of modern plumbing in residential environments. Key Responsibilities • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including water supply lines, waste disposal systems, and related appliances and fixtures. • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems. • Work with passive and energy-efficient plumbing systems, including recirculation lines, low-flow fixtures, and high-efficiency appliances. • Diagnose plumbing issues and conduct necessary repairs. • Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal plumbing codes and standards. • Perform testing of systems for leaks using air and water pressure gauges. • Collaborate with contractors, construction teams, and clients to ensure timely project completion. • Maintain tools and equipment in safe and working order. • Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used. Qualifications & Skills • Valid Journeyman Plumber License (Utah). • At least 1 year of experience in Plumbing in residential construction. • Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, tools, and practices relevant to new home builds. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings. • Experience working with PEX, PVC, copper, and other common residential piping systems. • Familiarity with energy-efficient plumbing fixtures and systems preferred. • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. • Physically able to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in crawlspaces or tight areas as needed.
