About the role As a Welder/Pipe Fitter at Quantum Industrial Services, you will be responsible for welding and fitting piping systems with precision and quality workmanship. This role requires at least four years of welding experience and certifications in ASME Section IX for stainless and carbon steel unless hired for a specific project. You’ll work with construction documents, including plans and shop drawings, to complete installations on time and within budget. Additional responsibilities include ensuring fire safety, attending weekly safety meetings, maintaining tools and equipment, and keeping job sites organized. All projects must be constructed with VO quality workmanship. 2. All projects must be completed to the customer’s approval and acceptance within budget and time allowed. 3. Arrive at the jobsite on time, ready to work with tools and safety equipment. Make arrangements for carpooling if possible. If necessary, crews will work beyond 3:30 if progress of project is behind or if situations arise that require additional attention. 4. Attend weekly safety meetings and work in a safe manner every day to prevent injuries or accidents. 5. Complete timecard on a daily basis with accurate job numbers, cost codes, and hours. Turn into jobsite superintendent or foreman every Monday for review. 6. Responsible for daily jobsite cleanup and keeping inventory in trailers organized. Secure tools and materials on site. Maintain and service tools and welders or report repair issues to shop. 7. Must be able to read construction documents it: plans, shop drawings, and specifications. 8. Provide adequate fire safety and wear PPE at all times. 9. Assist co-workers for on-the-job training and reach safety practices. Be a positive influence. 10. Keep welding certificate current. Qualifications 1. 4 years welding experience. 2. Certifications in ASME Section IX – stainless and carbon steel unless hired for specific project only. 3. Must be approved through workforce committee.

Essential Functions • Read blueprints • Be able to supervise a crew and complete a job from start to finish without direct supervision • Expedite all parts throughout the plant as necessary to meet production goals • Solve all obstacles related to the job he/she is running • Take ownership for meeting customer and schedule requirements • Be a living example of our principles of unity, trust, honesty, integrity, creativity, and self-reliance Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities • Must be able to make all welds uniform and clean, and complete work to customer's specifications • Pass Blueprint test: • Read all weld symbols on a blueprint • Differentiate between channel, angle, flat bar, square tube, pipe etc. • Pass basic plate weld test (visual and bend) within specified time requirements, in four out of the five weld processes used at Petersen Inc: • F.C.A.W. - Stainless and mild steel: 3G, and 6G position • G.M.A.W. - Mild steel: 3G position • G.T.A.W. - Stainless and aluminum: 3G, and 6G position • S.A.W. - Sub arc: 1G position is a plus but no required • Must know how to calculate Arc length and circumference • Know how to calculate Bolt Circles, Chord Length, and Flat Pattern • Must be able to work well in a team environment • Able to listen well, understand concerns, and gain cooperation to solve problems quickly and effectively. • Must be efficient and productive with time • Must maintain an acceptable attendance and safety record • Maintain safe environment. Minimum Requirements High School education or GED preferred. Four years of shop or field welding. Must be able to understand implicit and explicit instructions and react favorably in all work situations. Must be able to resolve problems, handle conflicts, and make effective decisions under pressure. Ability to do math calculations, especially trigonometry. Essential Physical Functions Requires lifting, stooping, bending and stretching to accomplish grinding, welding and other assigned duties. Requires ability to work at different heights. Requires correctable vision to within normal range to perform clean and uniform welds and read blueprints. Requires standing, bending and stooping for extended periods of time. Safety Requirements • Must not pose a direct threat or significant risk of substantial harm to the safety or health of himself/herself or others • Must be committed to a high standard of safety and be willing and able to comply with all safety laws and all the employer's safety policies and rules and must be willing to report safety violations and potential safety violations to appropriate supervisory or management personnel. Plumber Maintenance - Ogden

Summary/General Description of Responsibilities: The Maintenance Plumber performs basic preventive maintenance as assigned on all equipment/machinery located in the Ogden IRS building. The Maintenance Plumber assembles, installs and repairs pipes, fittings and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems, according to specifications and plumbing codes, studies building plans and working drawings to determine work aids required, and sequence of installations. This worker inspects structure to ascertain obstructions to be avoided to prevent weakening of structure resulting from installation of pipe, and locates and marks position of pipe and pipe connections and passage holes for pipes in walls and floors. This worker cuts openings in walls and floors, performs trenching by hand or power equipment to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings, using hand tools and power tools, cuts and threads pipe, using pipe cutters, cutting torch, and pipe-threading machine, bends pipe to required angle by use of pipe-bending machine. The Maintenance Plumber assembles and installs valves, pipefittings, and pipes composed of metals, such as iron, steel, brass and lead, and nonmetals, such as glass, vitrified clay, and plastic. This person joins pipe by use of screws, bolts, fittings, solder, plastic solvent, and caulks joints, fills pipe system with water or air and reads pressure gauges to determine whether system is leaking, installs and repairs plumbing fixtures, such as sinks, commodes, bathtubs, water heaters, hot water tanks, garbage disposal units, dishwashers, water softeners and clogged toilets. This person repairs and maintains plumbing by replacing washers in leaky faucets, mending burst pipes, and opening clogged drains, inspections of drains using specialized camera systems and may weld holding fixtures to steel structural members. This person will spot utilities, repair water mains, hydrants and valves. Other duties may be assigned as required. Working Conditions: May require exposure to disagreeable conditions including sewers, mud, sand, dirt, trenches, grease, caustic chemicals, paint/gasoline fumes, equipment noise and vibration, inclement weather and dampness and confined spaces. May be subject to irregular shift hrs if required. Minimum Qualifications/Job Requirements: • Minimum 5 years’ experience • High School Diploma (or Equivalent) • Valid driver license/airfield driver’s license • Travel for training when required • Knowledge of OSHA safety requirement • Knowledge of plumbing codes • Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs. • Must be able to climb ladders and work in outdoor/indoor overhead conditions to include man lifts • Variable working hours may be required due to operational requirements • Stand for long periods of time, including an 8 hour shift • Must be able to effectively communicate with airfield control towers and other NAVAIR authorities. • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand American English • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team player; ability to communicate effectively and work harmoniously with others Ability to perform duties to all local, state and federal safety standards
