Pipe Fitter

Department: Products Reports to: Director of Field Services FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as a Pipe Fitter. Must be able to produce plan, cut, lay out and assemble pipe and structural assemblies. Must be able to install quality work and have working knowledge of piping systems. Job Duties • Review plans and specifications • Must be able stay ahead of welder with fit ups • Cut, grind, assemble, install, and lay out pipe per isogen drawing • Bevel and thread pipe • Secure work pieces for welding • Install pipe supports • Install valves and instruments • Material handling • Maintain clean work environment • Operate lifts and other equipment • Enforce safety • Project installation quality • Individual schedule and work completion • Compliance with Clauger, customer and code standards • Maintain a field culture driven by customer satisfaction, quality and efficiency • Maintain coordination and communication with shop Foreman and Superintendent • This role has the potential to progress into field supervision roles • Assembly of skids includes: o structural steel work o installing Insulated Metal Panels o installing Louvers, Exhaust Fans o caulking o installing roof membrane o painting • Must be able to work with: o Carbon steel o Stainless steel o Copper o PVC o Polypropylene Goals • Maintain 100% quality on work completed • Maintain budgeted labor hours Job Requirements Education, Certification/Licenses • Three years fitting experience • Preferred OSHA 10 hour • Work authorization • NCCER certification • Fitter Test required Benefits Competitive salary commensurate with experience. Foreman - Pipefitter/Welder

TITLE: Foreman - Pipefitter/Welder REPORTS TO: Superintendent JOB DUTIES / GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: Pipefitter Foreman will report directly to the Superintendent and will be responsible for leading and managing a team of Pipefitters to deliver exceptional quality and customer service to our clients. The Pipefitter Foreman will be closely working with the Superintendent to understand the goals and direction of the company and lead their team to generate profits. • Develop solutions to make sure issues never become problems. • Reviews projects with Superintendent and/or Project Manager after equipment and subs are Does physical survey of project with the Superintendent to ascertain conditions and reports back to PM in writing, if required. • Does takeoffs for projects in a timely and thorough manner with the Superintendent. • Plan, coordinate and supervise on-site functions to include, but not limited to, scheduling, material control, and rentals. • Provide daily job completion percentages. • Assures all site personnel comply with project procedures, safety requirements, company policies and other requirements as they occur. Documents all incidents as they occur and notifies Project Manager and Superintendent. Recommends and implements corrective action. • Responsible for assuring that all jobs have weekly reports filled and turned into the office weekly. This is to include safety / toolbox reports, preconstruction, weekly production report and any project specific reports. • Conducts inspections on jobs, assures jobs are detailed to company standards, assures jobs are ready, and participates as needed, in start-ups and coordinates as needed with contractors, engineers, subcontractors and owners as necessary. • Experience within food manufacturing/beverage manufacturing facilities is ideal. • Retrofit experience ideal. • Experience with Welding SMAW/GTAW on Carbon and Stainless Steel. • Coordinates with shop for production scheduling and deliveries. • 4 plus years’ experience; journeyman or able to obtain license. • Able to read blueprints and prepare materials lists. • Work to increase Team efficiency and uphold high standards of safety at all times. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Must be self-motivated and punctual. • Must be able to multi-task and have excellent follow up skills both internally and externally. • Must be professional in appearance and speech. • Experience with government facilities a plus. • Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment, including ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Also requires frequent bending and lifting, standing and walking over uneven terrain or in confined spaces, and safely climb ladders. THIS IS A SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION.
