In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, assembly, and maintenance of mechanical piping systems according to detailed plans and specifications. We’re looking for a professional with a keen eye for precision, a solid grasp of pipefitting techniques, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Compensation: $32 - $36 hourly Responsibilities: • Interpret plans, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of piping systems. • Measure, cut, and bend pipes using hand and power tools such as pipe cutters, threading machines, and bending machines. • Install and assemble piping systems, including joining pipes by welding, brazing, soldering, and threading. • Inspect and test installed systems for leaks and ensure proper functioning. • Collaborate with other team members, including plumbers, HVAC technicians, and construction personnel, to complete projects efficiently. • Adhere to safety standards and protocols at all times, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following established procedures. • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours worked. Qualifications: • Working knowledge of low-voltage electrical wiring and high-voltage connections. • Applicant must have a high school diploma or equivalent. • Must have required state and local HVAC technician licenses. • Certification or associate’s degree from an HVAC program at a technical school and 2+ years as an HVAC installation technician.
