Position Overview: We are seeking a Plumber/Pipefitter to join our Special Projects team in Northern Virginia. The Pipefitter is responsible for installing, assembling, fabricating, maintaining, and repairing mechanical piping systems. This includes working with a variety of pipes, such as steel, copper, and plastic, in commercial settings. Requirements: • High School Diploma or equivalent. • Proven experience as a Plumber/Pipefitter or in a similar role. - 5+ years preferred. • Strong knowledge of pipe fitting techniques and procedures. • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints. • Proficiency with hand and power tools used in the trade. • Ability to fit carbon steel pipe. • Ability to solder copper pipe. • Ability to install screw pipe and victaulic pipe. • Med Gas Certification is a plus. • Backflow Certification is a plus. • Physical ability to lift heavy materials, work in various settings, including confined spaces, working at heights, and in adverse weather conditions. • Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record. • Must pass a drug screen and background check.
