This is a unique opportunity to become a skilled Pipe Fitter, responsible for performing various tasks in the manufacture of standard separators, receivers, and heat exchangers. Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated individual with basic math skills, basic blueprint reading, and basic fabrication skills to join our team as a Pipe Welder. Responsibilities: • Perform all operations in the manufacture of standard vessels and heat exchangers to required specifications; • Assemble and weld sub-assembly parts, supports, legs, angles, and water boxes; • Install parts, heads, and sub-arc; • Weld internal and external parts; and • Sub-arc wrappers. Fabrication Tasks The ideal candidate will have experience with grinders, plasma, torch, etc. and be able to fabricate parts needed for use in the shop. Requirements • High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred but not required; • Certified Vocational Degrees Preferred; • Minimum Experience: Vocation Training or Less than 2 related assembly experience; • Basic math skills; • Basic blueprint reading; • Basic fabrication skills; • Comprehension of safety rules; • Sit, stand, reach, walk for periods of time on concrete surface; • Ability to lift / carry 50 lbs.; • Sufficient hand, arm and finger dexterity to operate tools and or machinery; and • May be required to work extended hours which may include weekends and holidays. About This Role This role will perform 6G Weld tests for Mig, Tig, and Pulse. The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $24.00 - $33.00 per hour.
