THE REGIONAL OFFICE IS LOCATED IN RICHMOND, VA WITH INITIAL ASSIGNMENT IN CHARLOTTESVILLE. THE RATE OF PAY IS $35 - $37 AN HOUR, PLUS ADDITIONAL $3/HR COMPLETION BONUS. THE OPPORTUNITY: Industrial Pipefitters Wanted As a Pipe Fitter with The Bell Company you will have the opportunity to use your skills to work on hospitals, laboratories, large industrial and institutional projects. Both programs are subject to vesting and/or company performance • Ongoing professional training and development • Opportunities for advancement. • Potential career growth into our certified craft program with additional benefits of increased wages, paid holidays, and vacation accrual. • Employer paid $25,000 life insurance • Elective medical with 50% Employer contribution • Elective dental, and vision benefits are available • Employee Assistance Program (EAP), $0 cost for all employees • 401(k) program with 3% employer grant Job Requirements: The ideal candidate for our Pipe Fitter role will meet the following requirements: • Maintain the ethics and professionalism of The Bell Company in the execution of the duties and responsibilities of the position. • Candidates must have min 5 years’ experience as Journeyman Pipefitter and be familiar with industrial, process piping systems with specific attention to hospital, industrial and heavy institutional installations. • Must be familiar w/industry standard & code compliant construction practices. • Must be able to read and interpret blueprints. • Bevel joint cutting with an oxy-acetylene torch is mandatory • Must demonstrate experience with equipment setting, start up and rigging. • Experience of a residential nature will not be considered relevant. • Past experience in stainless steel, carbon steel, heating and cooling lines, chiller and boiler setting, hook ups and piping, mechanical room or central utility plant experience, copper sweating and brazing, must be demonstrated in the application process to be considered. Additional Requirements: • Drug test / Pre-employment knowledge & skills test required. Commercial Mechanical Foreman (HVAC/Pipefitter/ESCO/Performance Contracting) (Traveling Position)

Description Job Summary: PowerSecure is seeking qualified candidates for exciting new projects throughout the US. Core competencies for the Mechanical Foreman include the ability to oversee Mechanical Project Installations including: Piping Replacements, Chillers, Boilers, Air Handlers, Pumps, VAV Boxes etc. by managing internal installers or technicians and subcontractors. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Extensive knowledge of pipefitting/mechanical skills within the commercial, institutional and/or industrial HVAC industry. • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, project specifications and equipment submittals. • Ability to take off, measure and order materials as needed for a complete project installation. • Must have a working knowledge of software programs including Procore, MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Knowledge of general project accounting. • Ability to be a safety leader to ensure site safety standards are met and all personnel perform project and job duties safely. Supervisory Responsibilities: • The position is a Supervisory role and requires the Mechanical Field Supervisor to manage and supervise a crew of up to 8 HVAC Installers, Laborers, and Subcontractor personnel to effectively execute and complete contracted project scope safely and proficiently. Essential Functions: • Coordinate installation schedule with project manager, customer, and subcontractors. • Collaborate with project manager to produce weekly and monthly look ahead schedules to ensure material, equipment and manpower needs are identified and scheduled prior to start of work. • Create, utilize, and distribute Daily Reports to document project work. • Complete daily job safety briefings for site personnel at the beginning of each shift. This daily function also includes delegation of responsibilities to supervised staff. • Develop pipefitters, sheet metalworkers, HVAC technicians and apprentices in work-related areas to enhance work knowledge, productivity, and safety. • Reliable, self-motivated, and professional. • Maintain safe work environment by enforcing safety policies and procedures; Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local jurisdiction requirements. Physical Demands and Work Environment: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Must be physically capable of walking, climbing, kneeling, field of vision, balancing, hearing, and talking. Workers can be subjected to possible bodily injury from pipe fitting equipment, tools, materials, etc. Work environment may include exposure to weather, extreme heat (including humidity) or cold, noise intensity level, atmospheric conditions, exposure to electrical shock, exposure to radiation, exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals, proximity to moving mechanical parts, working at heights, and working around explosives.
