Qualifications & Skills: • High school diploma or GED required; vocational or technical training in pipefitting strongly preferred. • Prior experience in gas utility or water pipeline construction is highly desirable. • Ability to read and understand plans, specifications, and safety procedures. • Skilled in using pipefitting tools and heavy equipment near underground utilities. • Strong hand-eye coordination and physical dexterity. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and adhere to a flexible schedule. • Must be able to obtain and maintain all required Operator Qualifications (OQ). • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions from a Foreman or Supervisor • Physical Requirements: • Must be able to lift to 50 lbs frequently and perform physically demanding tasks daily. • Able to walk, stoop, crouch, kneel, climb, twist, and stand for extended periods. • Work is primarily outdoors in extreme weather, noisy environments, and hazardous conditions. • Willingness to travel to job sites, typically within a 4-hour radius of the home office. • Must be available to work extended hours, including nights and weekends, as required by the project.
