The Director of Construction is responsible for leading and directing all aspects of vertical and site development construction. The Director of Construction will work with leadership to define construction strategy, drive execution, and deliver results to meet business goals and objectives. Safety and Health Responsibilities: • Ensures compliance with safety and environmental procedures and establish profitability/productivity requirements. • Plans and implements safety policies and procedures in compliance concerns and preventative actions. • Plans and implements training for employees in work site safety practices. • Maintains safety files and records. • Performs safety surveys an inspections, prepares written reports of findings and recommendations for corrective or preventive measures where indicated and follows up to ensure measures have been implemented. • Conducts post-accident investigation and prepares report identifying possible accident causes and hazards for use by company personnel. • Setup and conducts training. • Develops, evaluates and upgrades safety programs.
